NEW FOR 2025
In order to keep the Pedaler’s Jamboree the best experience possible, we have decided to decrease the number of participants that attend the event. We know that the trail has been getting more crowded in the last couple rides and we want to make sure that the trail isn’t over capacity and that riders are safe along their Jamboree adventures. In the past we have had a maximum of 2,500 rider tickets available. In 2024 there were a combined 2,200 riders on the trail (weekend riders and day rider passes). The 2025 ride will have a maximum cap of 2000 riders. There will be 1,750 weekend rider tickets available and 250 trailside pass tickets available. DUE TO THE DECREASE IN AVAILABLE TICKETS WE ARE ESTIMATING THAT THE EVENT MAY SELL OUT EARLY. IF THIS IS THE CASE, THERE WILL NOT BE TICKETS AVAILABLE AT THE EVENT. We recommend that you reserve your tickets in advance to guarantee your spot.
To help us keep the high level of production value at the event with a smaller participant level we are restructuring our ticketing fees. There will be one rate for each of the ticket types this year. Weekend rider pass holders will also get free entry to the Friday night party. a Sunday pancake breakfast voucher and other bonus items. If you order your tickets before the event and later are unable to make the festival we offer a 100% refund guarantee (up until May 10th when we mail out rider packets). Just drop us a note if you need to cancel your tickets for any reason. The canceled tickets will then become available for new registrations.
The ticket fee has no additional add on ticket fees: Trailside usage fees charged by Columbia Parks and Rec and Missouri State Parks as well as the credit card processing fees are included in the ticket price. Rider packet postage is also included in ticket fee. Tickets will be available for purchase starting on January 1, 2025.

Proposed Schedule
NEW EVENT STOP IN COLUMBIA ON SATURDAY MORNING!
In attempt to thin out the busy crowds of cyclists on the trail between Columbia and Rocheport, there are a few new strategies for 2025. Riders will be encouraged to consider a thirty minute earlier start time. Departure times will be between 7:30 and 10 am? The 2nd technique on splitting the masses in adding an additional stop at the Jay Dix area off of the Scott Blvd trailhead. This party will not be fenced off and will be FREE to the public (if locals want a taste of what the Jamboree is all about). The festivities will take place in the grass area next to the parking lot. Entertainment may include The Mobile Funk Unit, buskers, acro and jugglers. I would also like to explore a game park area with bicycle games, and a carnival style atmosphere. A limited number of vendors can be invited. Snocones, coffee, breakfast options perhaps. If we have some businesses that want to give out free samples this could be a good spot. 2-3 hours of festivities could be a great way to brea the traffic early. Also a great way to get some buskers involved with the event that aren’t in a position for a stage show.
NEW STAGE & FOOT PRINT AT THE KATY ROUNDHOUSE!
This could be the big attraction for the Pedaler’s Jamboree this year and for years to come! John James from the Katy Roundhouse and I have been talking for years about putting a stage on the turn table and doing something beyond epic. This may be the year we make that a reality! John has already begun clearing the brush surrounding the turntable and opening a big open area for people to experience what could be the other main stage of the Pedaler’s Jamboree! The current stage at the Roundhouse is amazing but the event is getting a little big for that space. The plan for 2025 is to host the stop on the other side of the Katy Trail and focus the stop around the turn table relic. The area will still be fenced off but we will have a gated opening and stairway down to the pit below the turntable. The structure will be cleared of loose and dangerous materials and temporary stage blocks will be attached to the tracks creating a stage 90 feet wide by 10 ft long. The sound production will be modified and there will be two epic shows on Saturday afternoon. On the ride back on Sunday we will once again return to the small stage and keep with the layout we have done in the past years.

Sponsors/Partners
Here is a list of our sponsors from last year. Let’s come up with a sponsorship plan and then divide and conquer! We can offer similar perks to last year (do we have a sponsorship deck somewhere to review). What do you think about offering a bonus level sponsorship option for anyone who is interested in hosting the whole season of events? How about another 30% - 40% for being involved with the whole season? Probably won’t be applicable to the beer distributors or 3Fifteen for the Fun Run. We could also get big level sponsors involved with the stage build at the Katy Roundhouse.

Mighty Missouri Relay - Fall 2025 -
I am planning on pushing the Betsy Farris Run into spring 2026 - I am putting the Mighty Missouri Relay into that fall time slot and hope to grow it into an event that attracts out of towners as well as the locals. The new plan for 2025 is to put it on the MKT and Katy Trail. Short distances (half marathon and less) are on the MKT with the relay heading from Flat Branch Park to Boonville. Would like to crack the code on the relay event game plan and knock it out of the park. Hope that this will be the format that runners are looking for.
